Eating Vegetarian

Following a more vegetarian diet has become popular in recent years, especially among young women.  Eating a vegetarian diet is perceived as being more healthful, however this is not always true.  When you cut out a food group, such as meat, you need to find other ways to get the nutrients that you were getting from that food group.  It's completely possible to do this, but it does take some work.  Also, when cutting out foods, they should be substituted with healthful ones.  Cutting meat, and possibly dairy products out of the diet won't necessarily make someone healthier if they are being substituted with  potato chips and desserts.

For those of you that are working toward or already are vegetarian, here are links to help you do it healthfully.
